Overview
The Spiritual Barrier has been broken!
It's up to you, and your guardian angel Yui to fix it!
Travel the world and fight off demons from The Seven Deadly Sins in a quest to find The Seven Runes of Virtue!
Can you fix The Barrier and restore order to The Living Realm?
Game play
Angels & Demons is a Platformer/RPG with a hint of rhythm game added in!
- Make use of fluid platforming movement and abilities to traverse the world!
- Enter reactive turn-based battles and attack enemies by jumping, melee attacks, or multi-step special attacks! You can keep yourself safe from attacks by dodging, defending, or free-styling!
- You can even play a mania-based rhythm game! Each world has a music track exclusively for this mini game, and every battle theme as well! Each track features four difficulties, so players who are new to rhythm games, and those who are experts already can equally experience a challenge!

Thanks for reaching out! The point of that testing screen is to ensure you can make full use of the game’s abilities with your input method.
You should be able to rebind the player controls from that same menu by holding “enter.” From there, just rebind the movement controls for the player.
For WASD based controls, here is an example scheme I used for testing:
You can also try using a controller. The game should auto-detect and swap to any controller you connect.
The reason this test exists in the first place is due to a hardware problem known as “input ghosting” or “keyboard ghosting.” The short explanation is that due to the way some keyboards are manufactured, certain keys can overlap and cause them to drop out entirely.
If the issue still persists, or you run into any other problems—please let me know and I’ll do my best to help fix it!
nice my guy
This game is mechanically pretty impressive and fun to play! The Paper Mario / indie RPG and platformer influence is used quite well. My only suggestion at this stage would be to get somebody to direct the story and graphics - if those were made more appealing, I could see this project really taking off.
Thanks for the feedback! I am actually going over the graphics and restyling them to look better and follow a more consistent style. As for the story, I already have some adjustments planned due to feedback from other sources.
